Job summary

Al Qadsiah Club is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to monitor, protect, and strengthen the organization’s IT systems and networks against cybersecurity threats. The role ensures compliance with policies and regulations while actively responding to incidents.

You will work with IT, networks, and helpdesk teams to strengthen security posture and support business continuity from a cybersecurity perspective, including incident investigations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred certifications: CEH, Security+, CISSP, CISM, or similar.
• Experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, or IT security roles.
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (NCA, ISO 27001).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and protect IT systems, networks, and digital assets against threats.
• Review security alerts, analyze incidents, and respond to mitigate risks.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Manage security technologies including firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk assessments with remediation guidance.
• Monitor security updates and software patches for timely deployment.
• Prepare periodic cybersecurity reports and present findings to management.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen the overall security posture.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Contribute to cybersecurity awareness programs and best practices.
• Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
