Key Responsibilities
  • Publish and enforce organizational cybersecurity policies in accordance with local and international regulations.
  • Monitor updates from the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) and ensure compliance with the ECC-2018 framework.
  • Assist in the establishment and ongoing operation of the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring incident response readiness.
  • Manage installation, testing, and upgrades of security appliances and network infrastructure components.
  • Administer and optimize firewall policies, proxies, email security, VPN, and endpoint protection solutions (EDR/AV).
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to improve security performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Design and lead cybersecurity awareness and training programs across the organization.
  • Support vulnerability management by performing regular security assessments and overseeing patch management.
  • Provide training and guidance to IT and business teams to promote strong security practices.
  • Analyze security incidents, conduct root cause investigations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Requirements

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, control implementation, or SOC operations.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of firewall administration, proxies, VPN, email security, and endpoint protection technologies.
  • Familiarity with the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) regulations and ECC-2018 framework.
  • Experience supporting cloud migration and digital transformation security controls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and respond to security incidents.
  • Strong communication skills to develop policies, deliver training, and collaborate with teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
