We are a trusted recruitment partner working with leading organizations across the region. On behalf of a well-established organization based in Riyadh, we are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring on-site presence in Riyadh.

About the Role

As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for protecting the organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will work closely with IT, infrastructure, and business teams to implement security controls, monitor risks, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and potential threats
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities
• Manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems
• Investigate security breaches and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements
• Support risk assessments and security audits
• Provide security awareness and guidance to internal teams
• Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, trends, and mitigation techniques

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Strong knowledge of network security, threat management, and incident response
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring and defense tools
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Professional cybersecurity certifications are a plus (e.g., CEH, Security+, CISSP)
