Job summary

Fakeeh Care Group seeks a Radiology Technician to perform CT and MRI exams and assist radiologists in advanced procedures. You will ensure correct patient identification and study site, uphold radiation safety, and maintain equipment cleanliness in a busy radiology department.

The ideal candidate holds a radiographic/technological diploma or Bachelor degree, with at least 2 years post-diploma experience and fluent English. Arabic knowledge is a plus, and licensure per SCFHS/DHA is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate clearly with physicians, staff, patients and families.
• Must hold radiographic/technological diploma or Bachelor degree in radiography.
• License to practice per regional health authority e.g. SCFHS/DHA is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine CT and MRI examinations per department policies.
• Assist radiologists in specialized procedures.
• Identify patient and site of study before each examination.
• Ensure safety and remind female patients about pregnancy considerations when applicable.
• Monitor radiation safety for patients, staff and visitors.
• Ensure equipment is clean and functioning; daily checks.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and procedures.
• Other duties within the scope of radiology as assigned.
