Job summary

WaveWorks is seeking a Courier Delivery Driver in Mecca to safely pick up and deliver packages along a predetermined route. You will load and unload items, verify contents and addresses, and communicate delays to the dispatcher.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, and strong map-reading with GPS skills. Proficiency in English is preferred; familiarity with Mecca roads helps.

Job description

As a Courier Delivery Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to customers in the city of Mecca. Your primary duty will be to pick up and deliver packages from designated locations following a predetermined route. This role requires excellent time-management skills as well as the ability to navigate using GPS or maps.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver packages from designated locations in Mecca
• Follow a predetermined route to ensure timely delivery
• Load and unload packages from your vehicle
• Verify package contents and addresses before delivery
• Communicate any delays or issues with deliveries to the dispatcher
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Maintain accurate delivery records and collect payment when necessary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid drivers license for motor vehicles preferably with experience in commercial driving
• Clean driving record with no history of accidents or traffic violations
• Ability to read maps and use GPS devices effectivelyExcellent time-management skills and ability to follow designated routes efficiently
• Good physical stamina as this job may require lifting heavy packages during loading and unloading
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Familiarity with Meccas roads and traffic patterns is preferred

Salary Starting salary for this position is 1100 USD per month. Additional benefits may include health insurance, paid time off and bonuses based on performance.

Location This position is located in Mecca Saudi Arabia. Non-Saudi applicants must have a valid biometric passport.

Language Requirements Proficiency in English is preferred for this role as it involves communication with international customers. Fluency in Arabic is also highly desirable.
