About the job Country Sales Manager (Valves)

Client Overview: Our Client is a major player in the region of Saudi Arabia, known for manufacturing excellence and talent capabilities.

JOB PURPOSE: The Country Sales Manager holds end responsibility for achieving the Divisional Budget, with a focus on P&L / EBIT. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business strategies, introducing long-term initiatives, and providing leadership to the team. This role involves extensive collaboration with the Valve Manufacturing Facility (VMF) and Licensee Agreement partner on technical and commercial aspects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Strategy and Business plans.
  • Introduce new initiatives for long-term business growth.
  • Lead Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Margin Management, and Project Procurement.
  • Liaise with VMF and Licensee Agreement partner on technical and commercial aspects.
  • Coach and mentor the team.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in the Oil & Gas/Energy sector, particularly with valves such as Butterfly valves, Ball valves, Gate valves, Check valves, Globe valves, DEP Valves, NL Plug valves, and rising steam ball valves.
  • Experience in developing strategic partnerships with international OEM partners.
  • Ability to assess and present product portfolio improvements based on local market trends and client needs.
  • Solid background in a similar role, servicing O&G clients with a similar product portfolio.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop plans for business units.
  • Leadership skills with a successful track record.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with over 20 years of experience.
  • Minimum 10 years as a Management Team member in the Valves Industry.
  • Experience dealing with major clients and end users, handling (mega) projects, Distributors, and Agency business development in the Middle East.
