Job summary

Dewan Consultants is seeking an experienced Cost Estimator for offshore/onshore fabrication and demolition projects in Saudi Arabia. You will develop detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals for complex EPC and marine scopes.

You will review drawings, BOQs, and specifications, compile cost breakdowns, and identify cost-saving opportunities while coordinating with engineering, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, and project teams.

• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and BOQs and scope.

Cost Estimator Offshore / Onshore Fabrication & Demolition

We are looking for an experienced Cost Estimator with strong experience in offshore/onshore fabrication, demolition, oil & gas, EPC, marine, or structural fabrication projects for a client based in Saudi Arabia. The candidate should have experience in estimating costs for large-scale fabrication and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quotations, and commercial proposals for fabrication and demolition projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work.
• Estimate costs for materials, manpower, equipment, subcontractors, fabrication, and construction.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, QA/QC, and project teams.
• Assess project quantities, technical requirements, and resource requirements.
• Prepare and maintain estimation sheets, cost databases, and supporting documents.
• Support tender preparation and commercial evaluations.
• Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements.
• Evaluate cost impact of scope changes, variations, and additional works.

Required Experience:

• Experience as a Cost Estimator / Estimation Engineer in offshore/onshore fabrication, oil & gas, EPC, marine, or structural projects.
• Hands-on experience in fabrication and demolition projects.
• Experience with Decks, Jackets, Subsea Structures, Subsea Pipelines, Onshore Structures, and Structural Fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, costing, manpower, and equipment estimation.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project scope.
• Strong analytical and commercial skills.
• Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering degree or diploma preferred.
