Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Cost Control Engineer to join our team in the Riyadh region. The role focuses on applying cost control practices, analyzing financial data, and ensuring efficient utilization of resources to meet project objectives.

The candidate will review budgets, evaluate bids, conduct variance analyses, monitor expenditures, and maintain accurate cost records across construction or manufacturing projects. Strong Excel skills and cost-management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience in cost control or project controls is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost management tools.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project budgets and cost estimates.
• Evaluate financial proposals and prepare cost comparisons.
• Conduct cost benchmarking and variance analysis.
• Review periodic cost reports submitted by contractors.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, expenditures against allocations.
• Assess change orders and their financial impact.
• Analyze the relationship between progress and expenditures.
• Verify material quantities against drawings and specifications.
• Maintain cost records, invoices and project financial documentation.
• Review bank guarantees and financial securities submitted by contractors.
