Job summary

Al Rajhi Takaful in Riyadh is seeking an experienced General Insurance Claims Specialist to review, assess and process claims in accordance with policy terms, procedures and regulatory requirements. You will investigate claim circumstances, evaluate coverage, and ensure fair and accurate handling.

Coordinate with insureds, brokers, reinsurers and internal departments to ensure smooth claims handling, contribute to settlements, and maintain compliance with authorities and SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Incurrence, Business Admiration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess and process General Insurance claims in accordance with policy terms, internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate claim circumstances, evaluate coverage applicability and ensure claims are handled fairly and accurately.
• Coordinate with insureds, brokers, reinsurers and internal departments to ensure smooth claims handling and resolution.
• Coordinate with loss adjusters and review their reports, recommendations and supporting documents.
• Liaise with FAC and Treaty Reinsurance companies, brokers to obtain approvals and confirmations where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with company authority limits, claims guidelines and SLAs.
• Follow up on pending claims and ensure timely settlement within approved turnaround times.
• Negotiate claim settlements with clients, brokers, service providers and other stakeholders when required.
• Review reserve recommendations and ensures adequate reserving in line with company policy and claim developments.
• Prepare claim summaries, reports, dashboards and performance analysis to support management decision-making.
• Identify suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims and elevate them in line with internal procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance before processing claim payments and settlements.

Education
