Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Manager to lead the Entitlement events processing team, ensuring timely and accurate processing and client notifications. You will manage operational risk, develop the team’s capabilities, and drive efficiency across the unit within the Malaysian custody framework.

The role emphasizes leadership by example, performance management, and continuous improvement to support senior management in a high-risk financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading a team of 6+ people and mentoring junior staff.
• 5+ years in custody back office or middle office asset servicing operations.
• Experience end-to-end processing of Corporate Action and Income.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure timely, accurate processing of Corporate Action Income events and daily entries; ensure client notifications and payments.
• Drive operational effectiveness by tracking performance against goals and proposing improvements.
• Identify and mitigate risks; maintain audit readiness and train the team on procedures.
• Build a high-performing team through hiring, training and development; conduct semi-annual performance reviews and ensure business recovery testing.
