Job summary

TotalTECH Corporation in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced engineer to operate, maintain, and optimize Siemens access control and CCTV systems on site. You will install and test security components, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and ensure integration with other site systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Control/Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in control, automation, security, or integrated site systems.
• Experience with security, access control, CCTV, or related control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Good command of English; strong reporting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens access control and CCTV systems.

” The Job Description “

1. Operation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Siemens access control and CCTV systems.
2. Installation, configuration, commissioning, and testing of control and security system components.
3. Troubleshooting hardware, software, communication, networking, and system integration issues.
4. Configuration and maintenance of access control systems, including controllers, readers, door interfaces, credentials, alarms, and associated equipment.
5. Monitoring and troubleshooting of CCTV systems, cameras, recording systems, video management platforms, and related network equipment.
6. Diagnosing system failures and implementing corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
7. Performing system configuration, parameterization, and programming as required.
8. Supporting the integration and communication between security systems and other site control/management systems.
9. Reviewing and interpreting electrical, control, instrumentation, network, and system architecture drawings.
10. Conducting system testing, commissioning, functional checks, and performance verification.
11. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, system modifications, incidents, and troubleshooting activities.
12. Preparing technical reports and providing recommendations for system improvement and reliability.
13. Coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, site teams, and other technical disciplines when required.
14. Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with applicable company procedures, technical standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in control, automation, security, or integrated site systems.
• Demonstrated practical experience with security, access control, CCTV, or related control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
• Good understanding of control panels, controllers, I/O systems, communication networks, and system interfaces.
• Experience with system commissioning, configuration, testing, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, control schematics, and system architecture diagrams.
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols and Ethernet/IP-based networks would be an advantage.
• Experience in integrating security and control systems with centralized monitoring or management platforms is preferred.
• related technical training or certifications would be an advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong technical reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively under site operating conditions.
