• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks; ensure compliance with policies and laws.

• Provide guidance to Project Managers and site personnel on obligations and exposures.
• Maintain contract register and ensure proper filing and version control.
• Ensure alignment between proposals, commercial submissions, and final contracts.

DAR AL OMRAN - RASEM BADRAN (DAO-Badran) is seeking a qualified contracts specialist to provide contractual guidance and support across all departments, ensuring that contractual obligations, commercial interests, and applicable laws are effectively considered in business operations. The role identifies, assesses, and mitigates contractual risks, monitors compliance with corporate policies and contract requirements, and works closely with project teams, legal counsel, and stakeholders to safeguard the Company's interests and ensure effective contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and administer all types of engineering consultancy contracts, including FIDIC, NEC, Lump Sum, Time-Based, Reimbursable, Joint Venture (JV), and Sub-consultancy Agreements.
• Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, client requirements, local laws, international standards, engineering regulations, procurement requirements, and client- specific contractual obligations.
• Maintain a centralized contract register and ensure all contract documents are accurately recorded, properly filed, version-controlled, and readily accessible.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks related to project scope, schedule, payment terms, liabilities, intellectual property (IP), claims, and dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with Legal Counsel on complex contractual clauses, legal interpretations, claims, disputes, and contractual matters requiring legal support.
• Provide contractual advice and guidance to Project Managers, project teams, and site personnel regarding contractual obligations, rights, entitlements, liabilities, and potential contractual exposures.
• Ensure alignment between technical proposals, commercial submissions, and the final executed contract to maintain consistency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review tender documents, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and other procurement documents, and prepare, review, and negotiate commercial terms and conditions.
• Interpret contract provisions and provide practical guidance on contract administration, compliance requirements, and contractual obligations throughout project execution.
• Support contract claims management and dispute resolution activities through negotiation, mediation, arbitration preparation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related correspondence, clarifications, contractual communications, and documentation with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

A minimum of two years of experience in contracts and arbitration.

B.A. in Corporate Law or a related field.

Proven experience in engineering and contracting agreements
