The Commercial Contracts Support Manager will oversee the Scheme`s contract administration, contract compliance, claims management and dispute resolution.
This is a PMC role, and there will be multiple Supervision Consultants and EPC`s appointed directly by the Client. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to meet project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
. Provide commercial and contractual support across all project lots.
. Monitor contract compliance, addressing deviations with DELIVERY CONTRACTORS and SUPERVISION CONSULTANTS.
. Assist in contract negotiations, claims management, and dispute resolution.
. Prepare and review financial and commercial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
. Administer the main contract and subcontracts in line with the agreed terms and conditions.
. Interpret contract clauses and advise the project team on contractual obligations, entitlements, and risks.
. Ensure compliance with contract requirements, notices, timelines, and documentation procedures.
. Maintain contract registers, correspondence logs, and records of contractual events.
. Degree in Engineering, Law or Quantity Surveying. MRICS or equivalent certification is preferred.
. 15+ years of contracts administration experience in large infrastructure programmes
. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and cost control software
. Proficiency in contract administration, management and negotiations.
. Proficient in EOT and variation claim assessments / evaluations and formal responses.
. Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
