Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a Mason to join our team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. You will construct, repair, and maintain structures using brick, stone, or other materials, following patterns, laying foundations, and applying mortar.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, measuring layouts, mixing mortar, and ensuring structures meet specs. Filipino nationals preferred; contract with extension possible; must be physically fit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven Mason experience is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Familiarity with construction codes and safety regulations.
• Basic math skills.
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or construction plans to determine layout.
• Measure and mark surfaces where materials will be installed using hand or power tools.
• Mix mortar or adhesives and apply it with trowels.
• Align bricks or stones according to patterns, ensuring level and plumb.
• Cut or shape bricks or stones with chisels, hammers or power saws as needed.
• Clean excess mortar from finished surfaces with specialized tools.
• Repair existing structures by replacing damaged bricks or stones.
