QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate from a recognised medical school.

EXPERIENCE

• Essential: Specialised professional post qualification training/experience in Orthopaedic Surgery in a recognised centre as follows:
• Minimum of five (5) years – Category A Hospitals
• Minimum of four (4) years – Category B Hospitals
• Minimum of three (3) years – Category C hospitals; of which two (2) years must be at a Senior Registrar level in Orthopaedic Surgery
• Desirable:
• Experience in a special branch of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Certification Provider
• Publishers of original work; participation and preferably leadership in original research
