Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join the PMCM team in Riyadh. This delivery-focused role requires leading construction supervision activities, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and project execution from a consultant/PMC environment.

The successful candidate will act as the Client's representative on site, driving progress, quality, safety, and compliance to deliver the project on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience as Construction Manager, Senior Construction Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of construction supervision, QA/QC, HSE, contract administration, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all site construction activities within the assigned project scope.
• Monitor contractor performance against approved schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, authorities, and client representatives.
• Review and monitor construction methodologies, logistics plans, recovery plans, and sequencing strategies.
• Chair site progress meetings and provide accurate reporting on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor implementation of HSE requirements and project quality standards.
• Review contractor resource deployment and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
• Support commercial and contract teams regarding claims, variations, delays, and risk mitigation measures.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain delivery targets.
