Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, accounting, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in construction estimating or project management.
• Proficient in MS Office and estimating software; strong math and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Visit construction sites to obtain client requirement information.
• Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents to understand the project as a whole.
• Work closely with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors.
• Estimate time, labor, construction materials, and product costs to determine overall cost for construction projects.
• Produce written proposals, cost estimates, budgets, and updates for clients and project managers.
• Provide accurate quantity takeoff information to list materials and assess total costs.
• Follow up with clients on submitted proposals and budgets.
• Stellar communication, project management, and time-management skills are crucial.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry - estimating or PM is needed.
