Job summary

Confidential is seeking an Estimation Engineer - Hardscape to support tendering and cost estimation for landscape and construction projects. You will prepare accurate estimates, review tender documents, and analyze risks to aid commercial and technical decisions throughout the tendering process.

The role requires 5–8 years in estimation or tendering, experience in hardscape/landscape, and strong BOQ knowledge, with AutoCAD and CCS Candy skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in estimation or tendering.
• Experience in hardscape, landscape, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and tender analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for hardscape and landscape projects.
• Analyze project scope, technical requirements, and commercial risks.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for technical clarifications.
• Prepare material, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor cost analysis.
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and approved vendors.
• Support pre-tender meetings, technical discussions, and site visits.
• Review project variations, contract changes, and cost updates.
• Prepare tender submissions and supporting commercial documentation.
• Provide technical handover and budget clarification to project teams after award.
• Support design teams with technical inputs, layouts, and specifications.
• Monitor estimation accuracy and maintain cost databases.
• Mentor junior estimation engineers and support team development.
