Qualifications

• MD with specialization in Community Medicine, Preventive/Public Health or Family Medicine (or PhD in Public Health/epidemiology).
• MPH or equivalent postgrad qualification is highly desirable for candidates whose primary degree is in medicine.
• Experience teaching undergraduate medical students using student-centered approaches such as PBL, TBL, case-based learning, and community-based education.
• Experience teaching epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, preventive medicine, environmental health, and healthcare systems.
• Evidence of scholarly research through publications and ability to develop and sustain an active research program.
• Experience supervising student research, capstone projects, and community-based activities.
• Familiarity with medical education accreditation standards (NCAAA, WFME, LCME) and QA processes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, mentoring, and leadership skills for multidisciplinary environments.
• Licensure or eligibility to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia is desirable.
• Academic experience in curriculum design, assessment, and administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for, attend, and participate in monthly faculty meetings.
• Work on projects within at least one working group (OSCE case development; communication skills; assessment; professionalism and ethics; mentoring; feedback).
• Facilitate academy faculty development sessions and retreats.
• Uphold high professional standards and lead by example in line with College policies.
