Job summary

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics or related field with evidence of teaching experience.
• At least 3 years of undergraduate teaching experience.
• Knowledge of medical physics concepts and applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with learning management systems and technology-enhanced learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses in Physics for Life Sciences for medical and health science programs.
• Explain core physics concepts with emphasis on medical and clinical applications.
• Integrate examples from medical imaging, radiation therapy, biomechanics, physiology, and biomedical instrumentation.
• Develop and update syllabi, lecture materials, labs, and assessments.
• Prepare, administer and grade quizzes, exams, and reports; maintain academic integrity.
• Supervise labs and ensure safety regulations are followed.
• Provide academic advising and mentoring to students.
