Job summary

S-Chem is seeking an in-house Commercial Legal Counsel to provide sound legal services and compliance support for the business. You will draft and review contracts, negotiate with counterparties, and assist the General Counsel in regulatory matters and risk mitigation.

The role requires English-language practice, Saudi licensing, and a total of 4–5 years of post-qualification experience. On-site work in Saudi Arabia with confidentiality and cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law is required.
• Total 4–5 years of experience including training.
• Licensed to practice law in Saudi Arabia or equivalent.
• Experience with English-language legal work, including drafting and negotiating international agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on routine contracts and agreements to protect business interests.
• Assist in negotiations and communications with counterparties in the ordinary course.
• Support General Counsel on compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Draft first drafts of contracts, agreements and other Legal Department documents.
• Assist in investigations and manage disputes through negotiation or litigation support.
• Maintain confidentiality and organize legal/commercial documentation.
• Liaise with external counsel and other service providers engaged by the Legal Department.
