Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior cloud security professional to shape and execute our cloud security strategy across AWS, Azure and GCP. You will lead risk assessments, design secure architectures, and translate standards like ISO 27001 and NIST into practical controls.

Join a team that partners with cloud engineering and DevOps to embed security in CI/CD, drive Zero Trust, and guide executive-level security decisions across hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security with strong cloud security experience.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure or GCP; multi-cloud preferred.
• Solid understanding of IAM, encryption, key management and logging.
• Experience mapping security controls to NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks.
• Ability to communicate risk and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the organization’s cloud security strategy, roadmap, and target state architecture.
• Design security reference architectures for AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments.
• Establish cloud security standards, policies, and guardrails.
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for cloud initiatives.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical cloud controls.
• Partner with cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to embed security into CI/CD.
• Drive Zero Trust, identity-first security, and least-privilege access in the cloud.
• Define security requirements for cloud-native services, containers, Kubernetes, serverless.
• Evaluate cloud security tools (CSPM, CNAPP, CIEM, CWPP, SIEM).

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the organization’s cloud security strategy, roadmap, and target state architecture
• Design security reference architectures for AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid environments
• Establish cloud security standards, policies, and guardrails aligned with business risk appetite
• Lead threat modeling, risk assessments, and security design reviews for cloud initiatives
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI, etc.) into practical cloud controls
• Partner with cloud engineering, DevOps, and platform teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
• Drive Zero Trust, identity-first security, and least-privilege access models in the cloud
• Define security requirements for cloud-native services, containers, Kubernetes, and serverless
• Evaluate and select cloud security tools (CSPM, CNAPP, CIEM, CWPP, SIEM integrations)
• Provide executive-level guidance on cloud risk, security posture, and investment priorities
• Act as the escalation point for complex cloud security design and risk decisions
• 7+ years in information security, with strong hands-on cloud security experience
• Deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP); multi-cloud strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, encryption, key management, and logging in cloud environments
• Proven experience designing cloud security architectures—not just operating tools
• Solid grasp of DevSecOps, infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM), and CI/CD security
• Experience mapping security controls to frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks
• Ability to communicate risk and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
