Position: Civil Engineer – Temporary Structures & Event Infrastructure

Location: Riyadh / Jeddah (Must be currently based in Saudi Arabia)

Contract Duration: March 2026 – May 2026

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the planning, design, and delivery of temporary and permanent structures for a major international sporting event in KSA.

This role will focus on venue infrastructure, including seating, walkways, platforms, signage supports, and other temporary constructions, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and alignment with event requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, review, and supervise temporary and permanent structures across competition and non-competition venues
  • Conduct site assessments and structural calculations for stands, platforms, walkways, and signage supports
  • Coordinate with design, CAD, and technical teams to ensure safe and practical solutions
  • Manage contractors and suppliers responsible for installation, testing, and maintenance of structures
  • Ensure compliance with KSA building codes, safety standards, and international best practices
  • Support testing and commissioning of structures prior to event activation
  • Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and site reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in temporary structures, event infrastructure, or construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of structural calculations, load assessments, and safety standards
  • Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus
  • Fluent in Arabic and English
