Job summary

Pie Group is seeking a Central Laundry Operations Manager to oversee the entire central laundry operation in Riyadh. You will drive production, maintenance, chemicals, and textiles management, ensuring peak productivity, premium service quality, and cost optimization while minimizing waste and downtime.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets, and implement Lean practices to sustain high equipment availability and safety standards in a large-scale facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Several years of leadership in industrial laundry or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of machinery, chemicals, utilities, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead production activities and achieve daily throughput targets.
• Plan production schedules and optimize workflow.
• Ensure on-time delivery and SLA compliance.
• Monitor wash, finishing, and packing quality standards.
• Reduce waste, rewash, textile damage, and bottlenecks.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Maximize equipment uptime and reduce breakdowns.
• Supervise maintenance of washers, dryers, ironers, conveyors, and related systems.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance documentation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Plan equipment upgrades and capital replacement.
• Select cost-effective detergents and chemicals.
• Develop wash formulas for different textiles.
• Manage supplier evaluations and procurement recommendations.
• Lead multiple teams including supervisors, engineers, technicians.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff; conduct evaluations.
• Plan workforce and promote safety, accountability, and improvement.
