Carpenter

A reputable construction company in Jizan is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1,800 per month.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to the design plans.
• Cut, shape and smooth materials using hand or power tools.
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings, and cabinetry.
• Inspect and repair damaged framework or other structures.
• Follow safety procedures at all times to avoid accidents or injuries.
• Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, chisels, etc.
• Knowledge of different types of wood and their properties.
• Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Good communication skills in English (Malayalam proficiency preferred).
• Indian nationality preferred but not required.
