Job description

The Cardiac OR at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital andResearch Centre consists of four Operating Rooms specializing in Cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries for both pediatric and adult patients.

The most common surgical procedures include:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
• Valve repair and / or replacement
• Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm Repair
• Congenital Cardiac Defects Repair
• Heart Transplant
  
• Robotic Cardiac/Minimally Invasive Surgery
  
• LVAD/RVAD/HeartMate3
  
• ECMO Insertion

Note:
* 60% of procedures are for pediatric complex congenital anomalies
* 40% are adult procedures (e.g., CABG, valves, adult cardiac anomalies).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online/distance education programs cannot be considered)
  
• Current nursing (RN) license
  
• Must have a minimum of two years current experience in scrubbing and circulating cardiac surgeries
