Job summary

AccorHotel in Saudi Arabia is looking for a friendly Cafeteria Attendant to support daily team member dining operations. You will keep service areas clean, stocked, and hygienic while delivering efficient, courteous service.

Responsibilities include preparing dining and service areas, replenishing stations, clearing and washing dishes, and maintaining safety and waste-control procedures in line with hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cafeteria/food service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Understanding of food handling and workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

• Prepare and maintain cafeteria service and dining areas before, during, and after meal periods.
• Assist with setup, replenishment, and clearing of food and beverage stations.
• Ensure items such as food, beverages, cutlery, crockery, trays are available and arranged properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, counters, and service stations.
• Clear used dishes and transfer them to washing areas; monitor stations and replenish items during service.
• Provide courteous and efficient service to team members in the cafeteria; follow hygiene and safety procedures.

JOB OVERVIEW

The Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the team member cafeteria ensuring food and beverage service areas are clean organized well-stocked and maintained according to the highest standards of hygiene and service The role provides friendly and efficient service while supporting a positive dining experience for all team members

DUTIES amp RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain the cafeteria service and dining areas before during and after meal periods
• Assist with the setup replenishment and clearing of food and beverage stations
• Ensure food beverages cutlery crockery trays and other service items are available and properly arranged
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables chairs counters service stations and surrounding areas
• Clear used dishes trays and utensils promptly and transfer them to the designated washing areas
• Monitor food and beverage stations and replenish items as required during service
• Provide courteous and efficient service to team members using the cafeteria
• Follow food hygiene sanitation and food safety procedures at all times
• Ensure food is handled displayed and stored according to established hygiene and safety standards
• Support portion control and minimize food waste in accordance with departmental procedures
• Assist with receiving and organizing cafeteria supplies when required
• Report shortages equipment issues maintenance requirements or hygiene concerns to the supervisor
• Follow proper waste segregation and disposal procedures
• Maintain a clean safe and hygienic working environment
• Support cleaning and closing procedures at the end of each meal period
• Follow hotel policies grooming standards and health and safety procedures
• Coordinate effectively with Culinary Stewarding and other relevant departments
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

Previous experience in a cafeteria, restaurant, hotel, catering operation, or similar food service environment is preferred.Basic knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation practices.Understanding of food handling and workplace safety procedures.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts, as required by hotel operations.Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods and carrying service items.
