Job description

ABOUT AL RABIE SAUDI FOODS

Al Rabie Saudi Foods is one of the largest Saudi companies and most trusted juice and beverage manufacturers, producing a diverse portfolio of 100% juices, nectars, dairy beverages, and functional drinks distributed across Saudi Arabia and many international markets. Headquartered in Riyadh, Al Rabie has built a legacy of quality and innovation that is deeply embedded in Saudi households. As the company strengthens its position across the Kingdom's retail landscape, we are seeking a commercially strong and results-driven Key Account Manager to own, grow, and develop our business with major Modern Trade retail partners.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO), the Business Analyst - Sales & Commercial transforms complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across all six sales channels - Modern Trade, Wholesale, Van Operations, International Markets, E-Commerce, and Sales Transformation & Systems. The role is the analytical backbone of the commercial function, enabling the CSO and senior leadership to act faster and with greater confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Commercial Performance Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Design, build, and own the commercial performance reporting framework across all six sales channels (Modern Trade, Wholesale, Van Operations, International Markets, E-Commerce, and Sales Transformation).
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance dashboards tracking volume, value, distribution, and channel health metrics.
  • Prepare the Monthly Business Review (MBR) and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) commercial packs for the CSO and CEO, with clear performance narratives and variance commentary.
  • Automate recurring reports to eliminate manual effort and ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting outputs.
  • Ensure all commercial reporting is available to senior leadership in a timely manner, within agreed service level timelines.

2. Sales Analytics & Deep-Dive Insights

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on sales trends, channel performance, SKU contribution, customer segmentation, and market share movements.
  • Identify commercial performance gaps, root causes, and emerging risks across channels, geographies, and product portfolios.
  • Analyze distributor, customer, and channel productivity to surface opportunities for growth and efficiency improvement.
  • Build scenario models and sensitivity analyses to support commercial decision-making, including pricing evaluations, promotional ROI, and route-to-market assessments.

3. Forecasting & Business Planning Support

  • Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by providing accurate, data-driven demand signals and channel-level volume forecasts.
  • Assist in the development of the annual commercial operating plan (AOP), bottom-up budgets, and phased sales targets by channel, category, and geography.
  • Track forecast accuracy at channel and category level, and work with commercial teams to reduce bias and improve planning precision.
  • Provide analytical support for new product introduction planning, including market sizing, cannibalization assessment, and launch performance tracking.

4. Commercial Projects & Transformation Support

  • Provide analytical support to sales transformation initiatives, including route-to-market redesign, van sales optimization, and channel investment reallocation.
  • Support the evaluation of partnership and distribution opportunities (new third-party brands, new market entries) through financial modelling and commercial due diligence.
  • Assist in building business cases for commercial investment decisions, including trade terms, customer agreements, and channel-specific promotional plans.
  • Collaborate with the IT, Finance, and Supply Chain functions to improve data infrastructure, ERP reporting quality, and commercial system capabilities.
  • Act as the data and analytics liaison between the Sales Division and other functions, ensuring consistent commercial definitions, metrics, and reporting standards.

5. Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Translate complex data outputs into concise, boardroom-ready presentations and executive summaries for the CSO and CEO.
  • Present findings and recommendations with clarity and confidence to senior commercial leadership, flagging risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Build strong working relationships with channel heads, finance business partners, and marketing teams to ensure integrated, cross-functional analytical outputs.
  • Respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from the CSO and commercial leadership with speed, accuracy, and appropriate depth of insight.
KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. Experience:

  • 4-7 years in commercial analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis - FMCG or Consumer Goods preferred.
  • KSA or GCC market experience preferred.

2. Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint (non-negotiable).
  • BI/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent); ERP familiarity (SAP preferred).
  • Strong data modelling and forecasting skills; SQL or Python is a plus.

3. Commercial Acumen:

  • Solid understanding of FMCG commercial fundamentals - channel dynamics, trade spending, distribution metrics, and promotional mechanics.
  • Experience supporting MBR/QBR packs, demand planning, or AOP processes is a strong advantage.

4. Personal Attributes:

  • Analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, self-organized approach.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
