Job summary

Penta Consulting Ltd in Riyadh seeks an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Data Warehousing and BI, focusing on Teradata, for a 6-month on-site contract with a banking authority.

You will elicit requirements from regulatory departments, translate needs into Teradata-based designs, map data flows, and support SQL and BTEQ development in collaboration with DWH engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Statistics/Economics/Finance, master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of BA experience, 3+ years in DWH/BI projects.
• Hands-on Teradata Vantage experience (SQL, BTEQ, FastLoad/MultiLoad/TPT).

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from banking authority departments.
• Translate regulatory needs into functional specs and BI designs on Teradata.
• Map data flows from regulatory submissions into Teradata DWH layers (staging, ODS, DWH, data marts).
• Support design and review of Teradata SQL queries, stored procedures, macros, and BTEQ scripts with data engineers and DWH architects.

# Business Analyst (DWH & BI)Job Reference No.CR/030800Job Type: ContractLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaJob Reference No.: CR/030800We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with deep expertise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence, specializing in Teradata technologies within a banking authority or central bank environment.This role requires someone who understands both the technical landscape of enterprise data warehousing and the regulatory mandate of a banking authority such as SAMA, CBUAE, CBK, or equivalent central banks.***This is a fully on-site position in Riyadh, and it is a 6-month extendable contract.***Responsibilities:* Elicit, document, and validate business requirements from departments across the banking authority, including Supervision, Financial Stability, Statistics, Monetary Policy, Payments, and AML/CFT Compliance.* Translate regulatory and supervisory data needs into detailed functional specifications, logical data models, and BI solution designs on the Teradata Vantage platform.* Analyze and map data flows from licensed financial institutions' regulatory submissions (e.g., XBRL, Excel, API-based returns) into Teradata Data Warehouse layers — staging, ODS, DWH, and subject-area data marts.* Support design and review of Teradata SQL queries, stored procedures, macros, and BTEQ scripts in collaboration with data engineers and DWH architects.Requirements:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
