Job summary

SME Careers is seeking experts to review and generate bilingual training content for AI models. You will craft prompts and model responses across Arabic and English, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and robust reasoning.

This role is remote and hourly, offering flexible hours and access to future projects through our expert network. Ideal candidates have a strong linguistics or translation background, C1+ English, and at least 3 years in editorial QA or linguistic review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Linguistics, Translation, Arabic Language, Communications, Journalism)
• Native or near-native Arabic with strong writing/editing in Modern Standard Arabic and dialects (Egyptian preferred)
• Minimum C1 English proficiency for bilingual evaluation and instruction adherence
• 3+ years in translation, localization, editorial QA, content quality, or linguistic review
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to apply rubrics in hourly contractor work
• Strong fact-checking skills and ability to verify claims with reputable sources when required
• Ability to identify reasoning gaps, errors, and unclear explanations even when language is fluent
• Comfort working remotely in async environments with reliable availability
• Prior experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluation workflows preferred
• Familiarity with Arabic localization conventions for MENA

Responsibilities

• Develop AI Training Content: create prompts and responses to guide AI learning across topics
• Optimize AI Performance: evaluate and rank AI responses for accuracy and relevance
• Ensure Model Integrity: test models for inaccuracies or biases and validate reliability
