Job summary

AJEX is seeking a Business Intelligence Team Lead in Riyadh to guide a small, high-impact BI team and directly contribute to dashboard design and data models. You will drive standardized reporting across the organization while ensuring governance, security, and data quality.

You will mentor two Power BI professionals, partner with stakeholders, and report progress to senior management from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence with leadership exposure.
Fluent English; Arabic a plus.
Strong SQL skills and experience with enterprise data warehouses.
Experience building standardized, scalable reporting frameworks from ground up or at scale.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a two-person Power BI team, setting priorities and ensuring quality delivery.
Define and implement a standardized enterprise reporting framework across departments.
Design, build, and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and data models as needed.
Establish governance standards: naming conventions, data modeling best practices, version control, and documentation.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
Oversee data quality, performance optimization, and security (row level security, workspace governance).
Manage the Power BI Service environment, licensing, and deployment pipelines.
Report progress and reporting roadmap to senior management.
