Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Baker at KRAIV in Jeddah. As a Baker, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and assisting in menu planning. You will work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Main Duties

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the bakery team
  • Develop and test new recipes
  • Oversee daily production of baked goods
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all products
  • Manage inventory and order supplies
  • Train and mentor bakery staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning
  • Monitor baking schedules and adjust as needed
  • Control costs and minimize waste
  • Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature.
  • Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning.
  • Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment.
  • Cooking food for the specific area
