Job summary

Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance seeks an experienced Technical Instructor with a strong background in H145 maintenance to lead training programs. The role involves developing and delivering on-the-job training curricula and training aids, while supervising technicians during evaluations.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years in maintenance, teaching experience, and an instructor certificate; RSO/clearance may apply, with proficiency in MS Office and English language

Qualifications

• Diploma or recognized aviation training with minimum 2 years.
• 5+ years experience in H145 maintenance (military or civilian).
• 3+ years as a technical instructor.
• Type rating in H145 by OEM-approved organization.
• Experience developing and instructing OJT curricula for maintenance staff.
• Experience creating training aids (charts, graphs, handouts, slides).
• Experience supervising trainees during training evaluations.
• 3 years in technical writing preferred.
• Level-7 qualification in related specialties (logistics, maintenance, training) preferred.
• Instructor qualification/certificate from a recognized organization.
• IELTS 6.0 or equivalent for non-native speakers.
• MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Education: Minimum Diploma in Aircraft maintenance specialty or recognized aviation training program in respective field/specialty (Minimum 2 years).

• Licensing: EASA Part 66/ FAA License is preferred.

• Technical Experience: Minimum 5 years proven experience (Military or Civilian) in H145 Maintenance.

• Instructional Experience: Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Technical Instructor.

• Type Rating: Type rating in H145 by an approved organization from the OEM.

• Curriculum Development: Experience in developing and instructing OJT (On-the-Job Training) curriculum in the respective field for both fresh and advanced maintenance technicians.

• Training Aids: Experience in developing teaching aids such as charts, graphs, handouts, overheads, and slides to facilitate technical training courses.

• Supervision & Administration: * Experience in directly supervising new maintenance technicians during training evaluations.

• Technical Writing: 3 years in a technical writing position is preferred.

• Specialty Qualification: Preferred to be qualified as a Level-7 in related specialties of logistics, maintenance, and training.

• Certification: Must have an instructor qualification/course certificate from a recognized organization.

• Language Proficiency: * For non-native speakers, a minimum IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required.

• Software Skills: Have working knowledge of office automation tools such as MS Office.

Mandatory Requirements:

• All requirements and information in the CV must be proven by a copy of an official document.

• Pass the PSS/GSAC interview (attended physically or online).

• Pass the security clearance from the KSA government.
