Job summary

Egis is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to support the PMC team for a major aviation project. You will supervise and coordinate mechanical construction, monitor installation and commissioning, and ensure compliance with design documents, codes, and safety standards.

The role requires strong site supervision and interface management across HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems, coordinating with architecture, structure, electrical, ICT, and other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the Contractor’s mechanical installation works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, ITPs, and project requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify works meet approved documentation and standards.
• Review installation of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems and coordinating with BMS.
• Identify interface conflicts and coordinate timely resolution with designers and contractors.
• Monitor progress and report on activities, risks, and constraints.
• Witness testing, commissioning, and handover activities for mechanical systems.
• Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and site observations.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, ICT, ELV, and life-safety teams.
