Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority is seeking an experienced data professional to lead the Open Data and Data Sharing initiative. The role focuses on developing solutions, addressing escalated issues, and guiding policy or program improvements within the Authority.

Responsibilities include creating roadmaps, defining requirements, and implementing robust data access controls to ensure compliant, transparent data sharing across programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in data science or CS required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Preparing and implementing the Open Data and Data Sharing Program.
• Define the program roadmap and requirements for the Authority’s open data program.
• Design and implement open data dissemination plans, procedures, and controls.
• Establish and control data access practices with clear procedures.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate owner to ensure resolution.

Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions They are primarily concerned with developing solutions to challenges which require some analysis to understand and resolve and addressing issues escalated from junior levels They undertake complex operational activities including supporting the development of data availability and sharing policies proposing plans to improve data availability and sharing for the Authority recommending a data availability and sharing outreach program managing the implementation of approved plans and reviewing specific issues to recommend new improvement projects accordingly b nbsp

Job Resposiblites

• Preparing and implementing the Open Data and Data Sharing Program
• Prepare the roadmap for the implementation of these programs including defining the requirements of the Authority
• Design and implement plans procedures and controls for the definition and dissemination of open data
• Controlling access and data access practices by defining its controls and procedures
• Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases issues are closed properly
