You will oversee design governance, coordinate with clients and authorities, ensure quality and schedule commitments, and drive delivery from concept to handover on major public-assembly projects in the GCC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience is mandatory.
• Proven stadium project delivery experience with PMC exposure.
• Ability to lead architectural strategy, design reviews, coordination, and technical decisions.
• Strong stakeholder and client management across senior interfaces.
• Experience with multidisciplinary BIM/design coordination.

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Associate Director/Senior Manager (Lead Architect) in Saudi Arabia . The role requires a highly experienced architectural leader with proven stadium project delivery exposure, strong Project Management Consultancy experience, and the ability to manage complex multidisciplinary projects and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural planning, design management, coordination, and delivery for large-scale stadium and complex built-environment projects.
  
• Provide senior architectural leadership throughout concept, design development, technical design, construction, and project handover stages.
  
• Manage multidisciplinary consultants, designers, contractors, and specialist teams to maintain design quality and project objectives.
  
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, design packages, technical submissions, and coordination documents.
  
• Ensure architectural solutions comply with applicable project requirements, codes, standards, functionality, constructability, and quality expectations.
  
• Drive PMC-side design governance, progress monitoring, risk identification, change coordination, and technical issue resolution.
  
• Manage senior client, consultant, contractor, authority, and project stakeholder interfaces throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• Monitor design and project delivery milestones and support timely resolution of issues affecting scope, programme, quality, and coordination.
  

Required Skills

Stadium Project Delivery: Proven experience delivering stadium projects involving complex architectural and multidisciplinary requirements.

PMC Experience: Strong experience working within a Project Management Consultancy environment and overseeing design/project delivery.

Architectural & Design Leadership: Ability to lead architectural strategy, design reviews, coordination, and technical decision-making on major projects.

Stakeholder Management: Strong capability in managing senior clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

Project Delivery: Demonstrated expertise in managing design deliverables, project milestones, risks, interfaces, and quality requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering major sports, entertainment, or large public-assembly developments.
  
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary BIM/design coordination on complex projects.
  
• Experience working on major projects in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience is mandatory. Candidates must have proven experience in stadium project delivery together with PMC exposure and significant responsibility for architectural, stakeholder, and project-delivery leadership.

Education

Minimum: Typical qualification for this role — Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent architectural qualification.

Preferred: Typical — Master's degree in Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Additional: Relevant professional architectural registration or project/design management certification would be advantageous.
