Associate Director of Sales – Classifieds
Responsibilities
- Develop regional sales strategy and meet business plan numbers.
- Hire and manage sales resources to achieve targets.
- Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales at all levels.
- Analyse and report sales KPIs on a periodic basis.
- Set monthly and quarterly targets for the sales team in coordination with the strategy team.
- Observe listings trends and product performance, suggesting changes accordingly.
- Identify best practices to improve sales processes and overall marketing and sales efficiency.
- Oversee P&Ls to maintain regional business profitability as per the business plan.
- Maintain relationships with repeat clients to keep them satisfied and promote future business opportunities.
- Evaluate new development opportunities to grow overall business.
- Coach team members to reach their full sales potential.
- Conduct Training Need Assessment (TNA) of regional sales staff.
- Execute sales training program based on TNA in coordination with sales strategy heads.
- Initiate performance improvement interventions with the help of the sales strategy team.
- Work with sales operations teams to ensure optimal service levels and smooth agency and customer operations.
- Oversee market research and competitor and customer analysis on a regular basis.
- Raise process requirements to tech and strategy teams for optimal sales operations.
- Suggest improvements of the company portal for enhancement of sales.
- Develop team and consumer promotions for sales enhancement in coordination with strategy and product teams.
- Conduct market outreach events and expos to enhance agency and client base.
- Represent the company in expos and other real estate events.
- Forge good working relationships with regulatory bodies for smooth operations.
- Conduct frequent market visits alongside the sales teams to keep field knowledge intact.
- Conduct morning meetings with teams to give direction on a regular basis.
- Oversee special projects as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years previous sales management or active sales experience.
- Proven commercial sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets.
- In‑depth knowledge of commercial avenue.
- Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
- A deep understanding of market services/products.
- Understanding of tech platforms and sales.
- Ability to accurately forecast sales.
- Ability to analyse data to find trends and problems.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mind with excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong team orientation, communication, creative & analytical skills.
- Adaptability.
- High level of integrity.
- Highly organised and detail oriented.
- Ability to listen to and speak with clients, sales members, and other managers is essential for effective real estate sales managers.
