The Associate Data Analyst supports the business by analyzing large datasets, building BI dashboards, defining KPIs, and delivering accurate reports using SQL, Python, Excel, and visualization tools. The role involves validating data, supporting cross-project analysis, running A/B tests, and ensuring high data quality to guide decision-making. Ideal candidates have 1 year of data analysis experience, strong technical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, analytical environment.

Responsibilities

• Accessing data, constructing and manipulating large datasets to support planned analyses, using SQL, Python and similar tools
• Designing and developing BI dashboards using Sisense or similar tools (Tableau, PowerBI, DataStudio) for various organizational metrics and indicators using best practices and industry standards in finance, sales, inventory, and other areas
• Help with defining KPIs metrics and drive the data governance through standardisation and communication
• Extract data and share it with stakeholders using Dashboards/Reports or Google Sheets
• Develop analysis and reporting capabilities; monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
• Adapt at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Research and validation of entity data using appropriate internal and external data sources
• Liaising and analysis across projects within the Reference Data environment
• Analysis, specification, testing and implementation of interfaces, workflow solutions, and reference data solutions - An example would be regression testing systems ahead of upgrades
• Participate in the design, implementation and interpretation of experiments/trials for continuous refinement of on-going strategies
• Responsible for data quality and timely delivery of reports that make common business sense
• Understand business model and user funnels to identify required step changes for product growth
• Plan, execute, and analyze A/B test experiments to inform product strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Masters is a plus.
• 1 year experience working as Data Analyst
• Proficient in SQL
• Good with Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong problem solving skills.
