Job summary

Ernst & Young AE is seeking a data engineering and AI solutions professional to design, implement, and optimize data-powered transformations for clients across industries. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build scalable data architectures, apply advanced analytics, and guide clients through AI-enabled decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant experience in data engineering, analytics, or AI solution implementation (preferably in a consulting environment).
• Experience working on large-scale digital or AI transformation programs is an advantage.
• Strong client engagement and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand business goals and translate them into data and AI solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy scalable data pipelines, architectures, and AI models.
• Develop and implement ML models, NLP solutions, and predictive analytics use cases.
• Integrate data from multiple sources ensuring quality, consistency and governance.
• Leverage cloud technologies to architect and deploy modern data platforms and AI solutions.
• Support data strategy and modernization projects including migration and visualization.
• Work with data scientists, engineers, and consultants to deliver end-to-end AI and data projects.
• Stay current with trends in data engineering, AI and generative AI to improve client outcomes.
• Contribute to proposal development, solution design, and knowledge sharing across the team.

Experience Requirements

For Assistant Manager: 5-7 years of experience; For Manager: 6-9 years of experience.

Skills and Attributes for Success

• Strong technical background in data engineering, analytics, or AI solution delivery.


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or Scala.


• Experience with data processing and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks, Hadoop).


• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).


• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing concepts.


• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).


• Understanding of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and storytelling with data.


• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and global teams.
