Kaynuna Beach Escape, Yanbu, part of Kerten Hospitality, seeks an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations and supervise Supervisors. You will uphold high standards, coordinate staffing, and mentor the team in a fast-paced beachside hospitality setting.

Excellent leadership and English communication are essential; Arabic is a plus. The role offers opportunities for development within a dynamic organisation on a beachfront lifestyle destination.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of housekeeping operations experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience overseeing multiple teams and managing department operations.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and inspection processes.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop Housekeeping staff with attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the housekeeping department and supervise Supervisors.
• Act as subordinate to the Executive Housekeeping Manager to meet goals.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, and priorities across teams.
• Mentor supervisors to maintain high performance and procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage supplies, linens, and equipment; ensure replenishment.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback professionally.
• Maintain departmental records, reports, and handover notes.
• Support training, development, and performance evaluation of staff.
• Report maintenance issues and lost & found items promptly.

Kaynuna Beach Escape is a bold, high-energy beachfront destination spanning 30,000 sqm, designed to deliver unforgettable seaside experiences. The venue features 150 sun loungers, 15 spacious private cabanas (50 sqm each for 7–8 guests), a vibrant 200-cover restaurant, a stylish ground-floor shisha lounge, and a lively rooftop bar and terrace connected across two entertainment levels. Enhanced by a private jetty for sea-taxi arrivals, landscaped outdoor spaces, a sports hub and playground, and a year-round calendar of events, Kaynuna offers a dynamic, lifestyle-driven environment where hospitality, entertainment, and coastal energy meet.

ABOUT THE ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the daily operations of the entire housekeeping department, including supervising Housekeeping Supervisors and supporting staff.
• Act as the immediate subordinate to the Executive Housekeeping Manager, ensuring departmental goals and standards are achieved.
• Coordinate schedules, staffing, and operational priorities across all teams.
• Monitor, guide, and mentor supervisors to maintain high performance and adherence to procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage housekeeping supplies, linens, and equipment, ensuring efficient usage and timely replenishment.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback related to housekeeping professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate departmental records, reports, checklists, and handover notes.
• Support training, development, and performance evaluation of all housekeeping staff.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost & found items promptly.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• 4–6 years of experience in housekeeping operations, including supervisory or assistant management roles.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple teams and managing departmental operations.
• Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards, cleaning procedures, and inspections.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring skills.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control and operational excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good communication skills; English required, Arabic is an advantage.
• Previous beach club experience is plus
