Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Asset Management Governance & Assurance Lead in Saudi Arabia to implement ISO 55001-aligned governance across City Asset Management and embed requirements into strategy, readiness plans, budgets, design reviews and handover activities before key approvals.

You will oversee stage gate assurance, document control, and evidence-based decisions while coordinating with delivery, O&M, technical authorities and consultants to ensure readiness and compliance across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Information Systems, Operations Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Up to 15 years of experience in asset management governance, assurance, or related areas, including leadership responsibilities.
• Proven expertise implementing governance frameworks, Stage Gate assurance, design reviews, and evidence management.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 55001-aligned asset management systems and lifecycle planning.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement, governance reporting, AM platforms, and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead ISO 55001-aligned asset management governance across City Asset Management.
• Ensure asset management requirements, risks, readiness, and lifecycle considerations are embedded in projects and handovers.
• Oversee stage gate assurance activities with evidence-based recommendations.
• Coordinate and facilitate design reviews addressing operability, maintainability, and performance.
• Manage capture, resolution, tracking, and escalation of review comments, risks, issues, and actions.
• Maintain assurance records, logs, dashboards, and reporting for governance oversight.
• Lead COP/DOP implementation planning, platform management, and handover documentation control.
• Collaborate with City Operations, delivery teams, O&M, authorities, and consultants to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Apply risk-based decision-making to balance asset performance, value, cost, service outcomes, and safety.
• Drive continuous improvement of governance, document control, and lifecycle planning through audits and lessons learned.
