Jacobs in Saudi Arabia seeks a Director of Power Management to provide strategic leadership for the city’s power and electrical asset portfolio, ensuring infrastructure, networks, systems and services are effectively planned, governed and optimised across their lifecycle.

The role develops long‑term strategies and investment programmes, oversees substations, transformers, switchgear, renewable energy, energy storage and smart‑grid technologies, and leads safety, compliance and governance to meet

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; master’s preferred.
• 18+ years in power systems, utilities, or city-scale delivery with 8+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven expertise in electrical distribution, substations, switches, renewables, and energy storage.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi regulations, grid codes and ESG frameworks.
• Experience leading strategy, procurement, and lifecycle planning.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the strategy, governance, and performance framework for the city-wide power portfolio.
• Develop long-term asset strategies, load forecasts, and lifecycle investment programmes.
• Drive energy efficiency, renewables, and energy storage initiatives aligned with ESG and Vision 2030.
• Establish digital systems, smart-grid tech, data governance, and analytics for decision making.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and licensing, engaging with authorities.
• Oversee asset lifecycle for substations, transformers, switchgear, and distribution networks.
• Lead health, safety, and environmental management, regulatory compliance and business continuity.
• Develop procurement, governance, and KPI/SLAs for power supply arrangements.
