Job summary

Baker Hughes Company in Saudi Arabia seeks an ARMO Mechanic to troubleshoot, assemble, disassemble and service mechanical assemblies on coiled tubing units and related equipment, with a focus on safety and quality.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues, assemble sub-assemblies, follow procedures, and coach fellow technicians. Shift-based with overtime and on-call, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience with Coiled Tubing equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Basic math, mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills.

Partner with the best: As an ARMO Mechanic you will troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble and perform the visual inspection of mechanical assemblies. Whilst assisting in repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment, you will perform complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction. You will provide technical support across the business whilst complying with HS&E policies.

As an ARMO Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

• Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on coiled tubing units, injectors, reels, trailers, power packs, and fluid pumps.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine issues to ensure maximum reliability during well
• Maintaining, testing and assembling product / tools / sub-assemblies for operations
• Working to pre-defined procedures in line with established work practices
• Assisting in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment
• Providing coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence
• Handling special projects, as assigned
• Meeting Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Diploma or equivalent
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience with Coiled Tubing equipment maintenance.
• Be able to work efficiently in a team environment and communicate effectively in a courteous manner.
• Have a dedicated focus towards safety and quality
• Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills,
• Have knowledge of workshop equipment and their uses (shop tooling, measurement and material handling)

This is a shift based working pattern with the ability to do overtime - please talk to us about your desired working schedule on application. You may be required to remain on call after hours and weekends (rotating schedule).
