Competenze

• ASNT Level III certification in at least two conventional NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
• Experience with NDT procedure development and review of inspection records for accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to train and qualify Level I/II technicians and maintain certification programs.
• Familiarity with industry codes (ASME, API, ASTM) and client specifications for oil, gas and industrial facilities.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and field judgement skills.
• Effective communication with clients, project teams and stakeholders; clear technical documentation.
• Experience with advanced NDT techniques and in-service plant inspections is a plus.

Role Description

the ASNT Level III NDT professional will provide technical leadership for non-destructive testing operations, including procedure development, qualification of NDT personnel, and method oversight in accordance with ASNT and Saudi Aramco requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and approving NDT procedures, interpreting complex inspection results, supporting advanced NDT applications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client specifications. The role involves coordinating with project teams and clients, conducting audits and technical evaluations, and providing guidance and training to Level I and Level II technicians. The ASNT Level III will also contribute to continuous improvement of inspection processes, documentation, and safety practices. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess ASNT Level III certification in at least two conventional NDT method (such as RT, UT, MT, PT), with strong knowledge of method theory, application, and interpretation.
• Candidates should possess skills in NDT procedure development, technique qualification, and review of inspection reports and records for accuracy and compliance.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in training, mentoring, and qualifying NDT personnel, including conducting examinations and maintaining certification programs.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ASTM) and client specifications, particularly for oil and gas and industrial facilities.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound technical judgments under field conditions.
• Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordination with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
• Candidates should ideally have experience with advanced NDT techniques and in-service plant inspections, and an understanding of lifting equipment inspection and rope access operations.
