The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' experience in PMO, project controls, or project reporting, including at least 3 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will have supported complex infrastructure, transport, buildings, or mixed-use assignments by turning project data into clear, reliable reporting for management and clients. The role calls for strong analytical skills, a disciplined approach to data, confidence with planning and reporting tools, and the ability to work across design, planning, and commercial teams to give a single, accurate picture of project performance. The PMO & Reporting Engineer owns the integrity and timeliness of project reporting; decisions on project direction sit with the Project Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the set-up and day-to-day operation of the project PMO, including governance procedures, reporting templates, registers, and performance frameworks aligned with client and ARX standards.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, executive summaries, and client dashboards, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and issued on time.
  • Develop and maintain project dashboards and KPI reporting using Power BI, Excel, or equivalent tools, turning raw project data into clear management insight.
  • Track design and construction progress against the baseline programme in Primavera P6 or MS Project, highlighting slippage, critical path changes, and recovery needs.
  • Monitor earned value, progress measurement, and productivity metrics, and support fee and cost tracking in coordination with the commercial team.
  • Maintain the project risk, issue, change, and decision registers, and follow up owners to ensure actions are closed out on time.
  • Track deliverables, submittals, RFIs, and authority approvals through the CDE / document-control platform, and report status and ageing.
  • Organise and minute PMO, progress, and management review meetings, and maintain action trackers through to closure.
  • Align reporting formats with client PMO requirements, including giga-project and government-entity reporting standards in KSA.
  • Coordinate inputs from design, planning, commercial, and site teams to produce a single, consistent version of project status.
  • Run data quality checks, reconcile discrepancies across sources, and keep an auditable trail of reported figures.
  • Support QA/QC audits, lessons learned, and continuous improvement of PMO processes and tools.
  • Prepare presentation material for ARX management and client steering committees.
  • Contribute PMO and reporting inputs to proposals, methodologies, and mobilisation plans for new opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience in PMO, project controls, or project reporting on infrastructure, transport, buildings, or mixed-use projects, of which at least 4 in a PMO or reporting role.
  • Minimum 3 years of KSA experience is required, ideally with exposure to giga-project or government-client reporting frameworks (e.g. PIF entities, NEOM, ROSHN, Red Sea Global, Diriyah, or RCRC).
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, including progress updating, baseline comparison, and critical path analysis.
  • Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills; hands-on experience building dashboards in Power BI or similar tools is required.
  • Good understanding of earned value management, progress measurement, risk management, and change control.
  • Experience with CDE / document-control platforms such as ACONEX, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to present complex data clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines and manage competing priorities in a lean consulting environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English is required; Arabic language capability is a strong advantage.
  • PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-RMP, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
  • Professional accreditation with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), or eligibility to obtain it, is required.
