Job summary

Black & White Engineering is seeking an Area Director to lead its Riyadh office and shape regional growth across Saudi Arabia. You will blend strategic leadership with hands-on project delivery, mentoring multidisciplinary MEP teams and building lasting client partnerships on high‑profile data centre and mission critical projects.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading multidisciplinary MEP engineering teams.
• Proven background delivering large, complex building projects, ideally Data Centres or mission critical environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project profitability, forecasting and financial performance.
• Experience developing client relationships and contributing to business growth.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Strong understanding of project governance, quality management and risk management.
• Experience working across international projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• A degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards Chartership) is highly desirable.

Lead one of the Middle East's fastest growing Data Centre engineering teams.

As our presence across Saudi Arabia continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Area Director to lead our Riyadh office and play a key role in shaping the next phase of our regional success.

This is far more than an operational leadership position. You'll be responsible for developing our people, strengthening client relationships, driving commercial performance and ensuring exceptional project delivery across a multidisciplinary engineering team. Working closely with Regional leadership, you'll influence business strategy while helping expand our presence in one of the world's most exciting construction markets.

What you'll be doing
