Job summary

ACWA Operations is seeking experienced ARCS Engineers for opportunities across Solar PV plants in Saudi Arabia. The role provides specialist engineering support for ARCS, automation, and electrical/controls systems to ensure safe, reliable solar cleaning operations.

Candidates should have a bachelor's in electrical engineering and 7+ years in electrical maintenance or automation, with ARCS experience preferred. This plant-based role requires strong problem solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 7+ years in electrical maintenance, automation, robotics, or industrial controls.
• ARCS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for robotic cleaning systems and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and maintain ARCS components, motors, drives, sensors, and control panels.
• Diagnose faults in PLCs, control circuits, and industrial communication systems.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of electrical/automation/robotics failures and drive improvements.
• Support testing, commissioning, and verification of new or modified ARCS equipment.
• Coordinate issues with OEMs and suppliers for maintenance interventions.
• Maintain documentation, configurations, and fault reports; guide technicians.
• Ensure HSSE, LOTO, and permit-to-work compliance.
