Job summary

CodeNinja is seeking an on-site Appian Developer – UI & Data Fabric in Riyadh to build user-facing interfaces and the Data Fabric layer of Appian applications for a leading bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You will deliver fast, bilingual (Arabic/English) experiences on top of a secure data model, with strong emphasis on UI, performance, and data security aligned to PDPL and banking standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in software development including 6+ years hands-on Appian development.
• Appian Certified Senior Developer is mandatory.
• Strong UI/UX collaboration and data modeling skills.
• Proven ability to deliver bilingual Arabic/English interfaces with RTL layouts.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive SAIL interfaces, sites, portals and reusable UI components.
• Deliver bilingual Arabic/English interfaces with RTL layouts and translation sets.
• Design record types, relationships, record actions and record-level security in Data Fabric.
• Unify data from banking systems through Appian data fabric (core banking, CRM, data warehouse).
• Build dashboards and reports for operations, management and compliance users.
• Tune interface and query performance and optimize data access.
• Apply accessibility (WCAG) and banking UX/branding standards.
• Implement data masking and row-level security for customer data.

About Role

We’re looking for an Appian Developer – UI & Data Fabric to build the user-facing interfaces and the Data Fabric layer of Appian applications for a leading bank in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will deliver fast, accessible, bilingual (Arabic/English) experiences on top of a well-modelled, secure data layer. This is an onsite role in Riyadh, open to all nationalities, requiring strong hands-on Appian experience with depth in UI and data modeling.

Key Responsibilities

• Build responsive SAIL interfaces, sites, portals and reusable UI component libraries
• Deliver bilingual Arabic/English interfaces with RTL layouts and translation sets
• Design record types, relationships, record actions and record-level security in Data Fabric
• Unify data from bank systems (core banking, CRM, data warehouse) through synced and non-synced record types
• Build dashboards and reports for operations, management and compliance users
• Tune interface and query performance: local variables, paging, sync strategies and query efficiency
• Apply accessibility (WCAG) and bank UX/branding standards
• Implement data masking and row-level security for customer data in line with PDPL

• 10+ years of total experience, including 6+ years of hands-on Appian development
• Appian Certified Senior Developer (mandatory)
• Notice period of 1 month, or immediate joiners preferred

Must Haves

• Expert in SAIL, interface design patterns and Appian Portals/Sites
• Strong Appian Data Fabric skills: record types, sync, relationships, custom record fields and record-level security
• Data modeling and SQL (views, indexes, stored procedures)
• Eye for UX, with experience working alongside UX/UI designers
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with Appian AI features (AI Skills, document extraction, AI Copilot)
• Appian Component Plug-ins (React/JavaScript)
• Figma familiarity
• Customer-facing portal experience in banking
