Job summary

Maaden is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead plant financial management, inventory control, and cost accounting initiatives. The role involves building robust financial models, analyzing variances, and delivering insights to drive profitability across commercial and operations functions.

You will ensure IFRS compliance, partner with cross-functional teams, and support budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning to optimize working capital and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required or preferred.
  • CIMA/CMA/CA/MBA qualifications are preferred.
  • 3+ years of plant financial management or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze revenue, inventory, production costs, forecasts, variances, and trends to drive financial performance.
  • Create actionable recommendations and insights for management and executives.
  • Perform financial, operational, customer profitability, inventory, and market analyses to support decisions.
  • Stay current on financial reporting, cost accounting, inventory management and revenue recognition practices.
  • Apply Maaden policies and IFRS guidelines with strong internal control.
  • Develop financial models for valuation, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Assist in capital budgeting, expenditure planning, working capital optimization and inventory management.
  • Reconcile revenue, inventory, and financial data with operational sources.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and digital records for departmental activities.
  • Keep filing systems organized to support data administration.
  • Timely identify and address abnormal transactions, variances, and reporting issues.

Years of Experience

+ 3 years of plant financial management, inventory management & relevant experience

Technical Qualification
  • Inventory costing, variance analysis management
  • Landed Cost Management Concepts
  • Full absorption and standard costing
  • High proficiency in financial Modeling techniques
  • Strong fluency with Excel Formula
  • Strong quantitative and analytical competency
  • Good business acumen

  • Manage all paperwork and digital records associated with departmental procedures and activities.
  • Maintain adequate record-keeping and filing systems to support financial and operational data administration.
  • Timely recognize, analyze, and take necessary actions to address abnormal transactions, variances, and reporting issues.
