Job summary

EY in Riyadh is seeking a Senior professional to support accounting projects in the public and private sector. The role involves assessing new accounting standards, designing operating models, and coordinating multi‑workstream client projects.

You will prepare executive materials and lead workshops with stakeholders. The position requires 5–7 years of consulting or transformation experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in consulting, advisory, PMO, organizational development, or transformation projects
• Experience working with government, semi-government, or large corporate organizations is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Relevant certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, or similar) are considered an advantage
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience in policy and procedure development and documentation
• Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and report-writing capabilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage workstreams independently with limited supervision
• Experience in developing executive-level presentations and reports
• Fluency in English; Arabic is preferred

The opportunity

Our FAAS practice is one of the fastest growing areas of our business. As a result, we have a recruitment need for a Senior to join our team to support on services related to accounting projects in the public and private sector. The role will be based in Riyadh

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work directly with a diverse range of clients across various industries to assess the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions, or other regulatory changes. Specifically, you will:

• Support the development and review of policies, procedures, frameworks, and governance documents
• Conduct current-state assessments, gap analyses, and benchmarking exercises
• Support the design and implementation of operating models, governance structures, and organizational processes
• Manage project plans, track deliverables, and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities
• Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and executive-level materials
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions with client stakeholders
• Support performance management initiatives, including KPI development and monitoring
• Coordinate with multiple workstreams to ensure timely project delivery
